I made a resolution for myself, even before the New Year’s. It all stemmed from a month long vacation I took in November.
Part of me hated it - what was I to do with myself? I basically slept a lot. But about 2 weeks into it, I realized why I was so lethargic and comatose when I didn’t have to go go go all the time. My body was tired.
As a workaholic, I realized I have worked and worked and worked this past year and a half. I’ve worked so much that my body hurts and I’m constantly tired. My body needed some time to recuperate.
Hence, my new year’s resolution is work-life balance. It’s all about finding time for my addictions! Like running, playing video games (like Skyrim :D), and knitting. It’s about finding time for myself.
Anyways, that’s why I returned to knitting after like, oh…. 5 years. Finally finished my Christmas gifts! Here are some pics.
A red Christmas sweater for my friend Cass! And don’t look at the pom pom’s too closely… they’re retarded looking cuz I *hate* making them. Ugh!

And finally, Bella’s Mittens made from leftover red yarn… also for my friend Cass. (They’re called Bella’s Mittens cuz the pattern is inspired from the mittens Bella wears in the movie Twilight :D)
